The RS Pro 406-928 is a clear plastic grommet strip for edging protection. It is made from Polyethylene and is 5m in length. The 406-928 is designed for panels 1.6-2mm thick.
How do they work?
RS Pro Grommet strips slot over an edge to either protect the edge or cables that may pass by it. For example, you may wish to place it around the edge to protect it from damage or, when holes are cut into panels, the grommet strip can be used as a buffer on the edges of the hole. This buffer allows cables to pass through the hole without being damaged on the previously sharp edges. Grommet strips are also ideal for simply giving an edge a smooth finish.
